BLENDSCAPE

The diploma project was largely an exploratory expedition to visualise and execute some unconventional ideas. The aim was to come up with collections of prints which were modern in visual appeal, but deeply rooted in tradition, in terms of motifs and colours. The identity of this new collection comes from traditional motifs and colours that have been tweaked and tessellated, using various software, to give rise to beautiful collections of prints.

Layering of multiple prints were arranged them on various grids, sometimes removing parts and sometimes multiplying the effect; to give results which looked other-worldly at times. Finally, the grand finale was arranging the outcome on the contours of the body.
