The fundamental importance of creating a visual vocabulary through drawing, development of aesthetic judgment, values of form, proportion, image and word have become an integral part of graphic design at NID. Students are encouraged to work on a variety of projects. Areas covered include typography & type design, publication design, image making, illustration, photography, packaging, print design, corporate identity, branding, information & communication systems in digital domain, as well as analogue medium.
