Digital sarees and shalwar kameez

The project was to design the range of digital sarees targeted for contemporary, middle class women .
The sponsors are actively engaged in the manufacture of sarees, salwar-kameez, dupattas and different type of fashion fabrics. The project involved analysing real-life market situations within specific contexts and developing a balance between design and innovation.

The project was continued further with research and study about Surat textiles and market competition. Different types of synthetic fabrics developed in the city and exported, were researched. The collection was developed over a four-month period.
