HiLITE- INDOOR LIGHTING

The brief was to research and undertake a project in patti lighting, analyse its future and develop a feasible business model. The project was taken through three stages – analysis (user research & trend analysis), creativity (concept research and quick sketch model) and development (mock-up models, prototypes, 3D models, color & trim proposals, technical and exploded views).

One looked into all domains of lighting, rather than just patti lighting; and at how alternative technology can be used, or which business model needs to be followed or how to enhance user experience. The market being money driven. it’s important to find an opportunity and a USP of how to stand out from the rest. Interacting with users showed their POV and helped design the product. One also looked into how a more intimate interaction between product and user can be implemented. A new level of experience was delivered.
