Voice based Portable Gas detector

The objective was to design a portable toxic gas detector with voice-based communication for multiple scenarios/industries, such as oil & gas, mining etc. It included extensive field and user study, through which different uses cases were recognized. User activities were mapped to understand the work nature, requirements and the usage pattern. Product conceptualisation in terms of sketches, mock-ups, technical prototype and a fully working model was made. The final result was user-test in the field, which yielded feasibility and important observations regarding improvements in the product and its system.
