Photo Capturing and Quick Note Taking on phone and tablet

The purpose was to develop a ‘Photo Capturing and Note Taking’ app. The project started with decoding the brief. A compete study of related products and apps was done to understand the market space and the features provided. A user survey was conducted to understand how people take notes and to verify hypotheses. Related domains were identified by making a domain map and listing the products under them. Some gaps and corresponding opportunity areas were identified, based on this. These opportunity areas were ideated upon and concepts were developed.

One of these concepts was selected, based on the scope of work and taken forward. User needs were identified based on a user journey map. The initial idea was refined considering these needs and a second version of the idea was developed. The second version was again evaluated and the identified problems were solved in the third and final version.
