Design of a Class-B Autoclave

The project is an initiative thought of the sponsor for proper sterilisation in all health care centres, such as hospitals, clinics, laboratories and research centres. It carried a brief of finding a market gap and designing a Class B autoclave for the Indian market to create a hygienic environment in dental clinics and hospitals.

Elaborative research with observation allowed me to find opportunities to create better solutions for what people desire from a product. One also focused on what was technically and organizationally feasible for a proper design.
The design carried all thoughts of usability, ergonomical, economical and user friendly in its context. The producst is simple to use and allows proper accrss with the help of technology innovation in which cost has been reduced and achieved quick sterilisation.
