DESIGNING OTT VIDEO CONTENT RECOMMENDATION APPLICATION

In today’s world, the premium content domain has expanded by leaps and bounds, sometimes appearing to be more than what we can consume. Shufflr+ was designed with an objective of helping users consume only those videos that they want to watch, by enhancing the User Experience and creating a one-stop-shop where all their needs of online entertainment are met.

The main feature called ‘Daily FIx’ recommends the user with 20 Shows, 20 movies and 20 online videos, aggregated from various premium content platforms like Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. based on their personal interests which are provided by social platforms as a third-party transaction. The app provides various features like Daily Fix, Channels, Timeline, Activities, Queue, Now Playing and Profile settings helping the users manage their consumption in their own personalised way.
