Redesigning McAfee Internet Security for Mac users

The project was to re-design the McAfee Internet security for Macintosh OS X. it required a thorough study and analysis of the current OS and change in the visual language of the OS which involved the latest OS, Yosemite.

Along with the study of the medium, the target audience was studied. Task analysis method was used in which the users were provided with a task and assessment was based on ease of use. A complied report conveyed the features which the users would like to have and other related loopholes. Following this, user scenarios were made and few changes suggested in the existing product for a better experience. After development of ideas on paper and further discussions with team members, a concept was finalised and final visual decisions were made.
