Making a pitch for a point-of-care diagnostic tool for women
A start-up was seeking funding for a DIY point-of-care diagnostic tool to track women’s nutrition and fertility level and detect the presence of certain asymptomatic Sexually Transmitted Infections. The objective was to convey its urgency, potential and convince investors to fund the idea.
Besides developing the branding, women had to be convinced to talk about their bodies. Research was carried out. Initial public interest was generated. The audience was primed for the product following which, infographics were made. A presentation was made to investors.
A website was made that communicated the sexual health scenario and the unnerving trends thrown up, and encompassed a tool to understand users better – a carefully put together questionnaire disguised as a quiz – calling them to sign up for the product, which was presented as one of the ways they could take better care of their bodies.
