diploma project
The Airport Project
The project covered creating a brand for children’s play and retail space. Research was carried out, parents and children were interviewed. Children were observed unobtrusively. Market trends were studied. Intensive brain storms followed research. Themes were decided through mood boards. Once the brand name was fixed, a unique signature style for illustrations was created, which shows the brand is smart and thinks out-of-box. Opportunity areas in the space were discovered to give it the visual language, which covered interiors and exteriors. Zoning and signage were created for easy, clear navigation. Play Ideas and games were designed and given the brand’s signature style.
Researchers, toy and game designers, product designers, graphic designers, engineers and architects were a part of the project. The space was given a unique spatial experience, which creates memorable moments and help’s people pass their time in a productive, creative, fun way.
