The Local Dlivery Project - The Social Shopping Project

The project aimed at creating a service that would transform the process of buying local products into an enjoyable experience. Initially planned as a delivery service, it eventually became a social shopping experience as an alternative to time-consuming shopping. It is a bifurcation of e-commerce and social networking.

The experience was designed to be seamless, so users would enjoy going through products and testimonials. The usage of Natural Language Processing ensured not having to go through fields of text to express their experience.

The service is geared towards decentralisation of interests and opinions, after years of centralised mass culture and globalisation. It is attempted to let people’s aspirations drive the design process to create something of value.
