ROYAL ENFIELD PACKAGING - COMMUNICATION DESIGN APPROACH

The project was in the domain of packaging and to visualise how the look and feel of the new brand language would adapt onto the packaging in terms of a visual structure. One looked at different approaches and concepts that would be appropriate for the look and feel of the packaging.

The final direction takes forward the restrained, essential craftsmanship of the brand. The best example of this aesthetic philosophy is visible in the motorcycles themselves—which stand out with a sophisticated restraint in embellishment. The packaging language learns from this and retains the purity and simplicity in both, selection of materials and the applications of branding assets. The minimalism in this case is not to mark an absence of elements, but to demonstrate superior control over the use of materials and graphic elements.
