Spendwell- Personal Finance Management Application

This project was to make SAP a household name. The idea was to introduce the concept of Personal Finance Management and designing an application for how Indians interact with finances. In order to understand these specific needs and behavioral patterns, intensive research was carried out, covering most metros. Online surveys, personal interviews and usablity testing were carried out to get more inferences.

The application is designed for the Android platform. The key technology behind the app is procuring transactional messages sent by banks to create financial summaries for the users. The summary gives a general overview of expenses and incomes categorically. The later versions of the app are designed to be of advanced level with budgeting and goal keeping capacities.
