NOT JUST ANOTHER COUCH
Guests in India were always welcome to drop in, sit, take a break, in a person’s home. In recent times however, this is considered more of an inconvenience than anything else. The film, aims at exploring the status of couch surfing, merely a different term for a practice synonymous with ancient Indian culture.
The objective is to bring forward the concept (couch surfing) before the audience, creating awareness and leaving one with the urge to know more about it. The film wears the look of a lifestyle show/documentary in parts. The mood is kept light-hearted and fun to watch. The editing pace has been allowed to be crisp and rhythmically fast, as per the requirement. It is a mix of information and knowledge, as well as conscious but genuine moments of anticipation, nervousness, aspiration, awe and an adrenaline rush from these couch surfers lives.
