Ghosla

The objective of this project was to seek closure through catharsis. The approach, therefore, was like personal writing. The film addresses anyone in the audience who has gone through an identity crisis.

A young woman pays an unplanned visit to her childhood home, where her family is in the process of moving out. Her last rendezvous with childhood starts out as a blind date of sorts. This nest, which was once a bed of roses, starts prickling her, catalysed by the presence of her date- cum-suitor for arranged marriage, chosen for her by her father. She grows more and more restless, realising she is stuck in a rut; the past ominously promising to repeat itself in the future. Deciding that it's time to test her wings, she sets out on a search for self, stepping over the threshold to embrace the skies, to walk into the arms of adulthood.
