Modular Storage Solutions

This brief was to research, design and develop a modular/scalable storage/shelving solution that could also accommodate a study space, media centre etc. This solution should fit well within a living, bedroom or study area in wood and the like. A detailed study of specific furniture and its function was carried out to understand possibilities of multi-purpose use. The second step was to study the scenarios in multi-utility storage-cum-displays through research and market investigations. Understanding consumer needs and usage through interviews and home visits were conducted in order to finalise the list of products

Research clearly showed that Indian homes and consumers demand storage that has maximum potential in terms of usage and functionality. The final products were modular units of storage that can be bought by the consumer individually to create their own storage and display units.
