Intercity Luxury coach exterior design for the year 2020
The aim was to come up with a bus design which would be the new face of the brand. A background study of the brand and bus history was done. A market study was carried out to understand various segments. Competitor brands were also studied and a trend was mapped, observing how the influence of cars. The analysis gave the new direction on which the segment should focus and the final design brief was set.

The initial ideation was done in four different directions. The best features were combined and a basic concept design was created. The initial one was too conceptual, so it had to be toned down and made feasible for production. This process involved a lot of refinement and the final design was picked. The final production proposal was simple, yet derived from the initial concepts. It had a new character, while retaining the brand language.
