Future Land Rover for 2030
The aim was to develop a future prediction of how a Land Rover would look in the year 2030 and how its occupants would experience it. Three major factors were considered: first, the research, market study and analysis of market evolution up to 2030; identifying ideal technologies; understanding the Brand Heritage and coming up with idea level, brand level and user experience level proposals.

The infrastructure and vehicle are in constant interaction and understanding the infrastructure in order to design the vehicle was prime. The need to make them interact on a seamless basis required understanding and progress on both ends. The user is central to the design process. The autonomous vehicle will enable the users to have their freedom to choose how they interact with the vehicle. In effect, the autonomous vehicle will be an extension of the user’s living and work spaces.
