The aim of the project was developing digitally printed garments in the Indian ethnic wear section for both men’s and women’s wear. The collections were mainly inspired by Hindi calligraphy, architecture, Egyptian clothing and Navajo weaving. The process involved developing single pieces of artwork and later composing them to form textures and elements of attraction and then taken forward to Photoshop for final print development and digital printing. This resulted in making a collection of engineered prints, where each design was different from the other making it a unique and exclusive piece of digitally printed garment.
