The project aimed at developing two collections, one being a line of saris, dupattas, stoles and yardages in Tussar and the other being an “east” inspired collection of garments made from pre-existing fabric in the store. This project required research and field study with the weavers at Champa to study the possibilities of design intervention and incorporating the skills of the local weavers in developing a range of products. The deliverables of the project included a range of saris, dupattas, stoles and fabrics engineered for a clothing collection for Autumn/Winter 2015-2016.
