The project aimed at developing a new line of hand woven Ikat saris and a capsule collection of stoles (using different traditional textile techniques) of eri and eri blends while lending a fresh and contemporary look to the collection.The design development was mostly done on a digital platform after initial handwork, which helped complete a huge number of complex designs in a relatively short span of time. The product range designed included saris and stoles that derive their identity from age old textile traditions and simple drapes. The collections are aimed at both domestic and international markets.
