Designing a Wearable Companion device for Urban Smart-phone User
The objective was to design a 'companion wearable device' for urban smart phone users.
It involved: (i) studying current and upcoming trends of ‘communication-enabled tools’ and how they affect and shape the near future of communication and understanding the adaptability of people who use smart mobile devices on the move; (ii) designing a solution that enables users to reduce the ‘pull out frequency’ of smart phones from their pockets; (iii) proposing an end-to-end design solution in terms of interaction design, product design and product ecosystem.
The end deliverable was to make smart watch concepts with high fidelity rendering of all key screens, information architecture and UX animation explaining the design concept. The work flow comprised of form generation.
