AN ENFIELD STORY, Retail Spaces for ROYAL ENFIELD

The project was designing a destination store for a major, classic, bike brand. The space was a double-height, pillared, 14,000 sq ft shell in the heart of Mumbai. The process was narrative-oriented. It took an interesting turn into designing a compact store. The design had the potential to be adapted into various formats and yet communicate the core idea. This part of the project initiated one into the real world of production; from dealers and vendors, to BOQs and contractors, and from permissions to legalities. All along, one had become a crucial link in the discussions that involved decision making.
