‘Prevention is better than cure.’ This is an age old idiom that still holds true and has been the driving idea for this project. It focuses on infant nutrition management. The Standford Bio-design process guided the progress in systematically identifying unmet needs, drawing insights, boiling down to the key intervention areas and moved through designing the solution. The final product focused on storage of human milk. To get to this point, research was carried out on the current scenario around human milk banks and the key stakeholders and issues in the supply chain were studied. A white space was identified as the project progressed and a solution model was formed.
