Channapatna Wooden Toys For Premium Market

The in-house project brief was to develop character toys, DIY toys and board games for children. The different stages of the project included an initial brief, design concept, technical drawings, prototyping and documentation.

Based on research a mood board was created, followed by first-cut concepts. These were presented to the CEO along with concepts from the rest of the team. Amongst the concepts, a mini collection of character toys and board games were shortlisted and presented. Based on in-house feedback, safety standards and ergonomics, the concepts were revisited and modified. Technical drawings were created and converted into prototypes at Channapatna. The prototypes were user tested with the target group. The feedback and observation analysis was incorporated into the final product.
