Vatavaran is an NGO working on environmental issues in and around Delhi. My diploma project was to re-brand Vatavaran. It primarily focused on building up a common visual language which stretched across different mediums such as web, print to the fields where the actual work happens. The main objective of this project was to give a new look to the brand Vatavaran, and make the audience aware and take inspiration from Vatavaran’s 20 years of work in the socio-environmental sector. My scope of work included redesigning its website and designing promotional print based material. The website design mainly involved structuring information, building visual language, re-looking the current design strategies, campaigns and creating new strategies for more awareness. The target group for this project was anyone who wanted to help improve the society, we live in. This project introduced me to web designing and gave me an opportunity to open another area for exploration in my future design endeavours. This diploma project involved organizing, structuring, strategizing, building, analyzing a huge amount of information which made me more disciplined and organized as a designer. |
