The project aimed at a futuristic flight deck display with a visual strategy that would help pilots with easy and quick cognition of the displayed information and reduction in the clutter. It also aimed at establishing a brand appeal that could be followed in all flight deck displays. The project brief and scope of work laid out in phases, revolved around analysing trends in flight deck display interfaces in the aerospace domain of Honeywell’s global product ecology. The second phase involved building visual design strategies and layouts for the chosen pilot interface in the concluding phase, drafting visual design recommendations for the chosen pilot interface that could represent Honeywell aerospace globally.
