This project explored the use of corrugated sheet as a material, and identified opportunities and possibilities of repositioning their value and usage in furniture industry in India. The end product was the Yutiriti Series – eco-friendly chairs made of a combination of conventional and non-conventional. The target audience was the upper-middle class looking for a change in trend; college students looking for furniture being affordable yet highly utilitarian, having a good resale value, customisable, flat-packed and transportable; and architects and builders who look for a functional, within the budget and greener options. The other part of the project also explored possibilities of using corrugated sheet in other kinds of furniture like sofa and tables.
