The aim of the project was to understand the Slow Design Movement and incorporate the learnings into the design impression through a range of furniture aimed for the high-end customer. Teak was chosen for its flexibility in moulding to create the final products – a lounge chair with ottoman, an armchair, a rocking chair and a 2-seater sofa. Clean lines, simplicity of the materials and joinery lent the product a unique aesthetic value. Special focus was laid on ergonomics and details to add to the functional value.
