It is a story of a small village where people lead satisfied lives. It is a society where dominance of one powerful class is accepted by other classes and communities. Yet, there are some rising foreign elements which attract innocent people. Some people perceive this outside influence evil and some consider it development, but all of them reflect a conspiracy.
The central character is the one who perceives the changes and witnesses all the events. The film tries to portray a person who is fascinated with the incidents happening around him and to fulfil those fascinations, he dreams of logical possibilities. His dreams sometimes are satires on consumerism and, sometimes, those dreams lead him to some realization and finally out of the web of his confusions and the grip of the commercial world. He develops another self, contradictory to his actual self. He faces a lot of hurdles, which make his life confusing and where he has to choose between two options.
At another level, the film is the depiction of a political scenario supported with a third person’s point of view. It shows how at first society was formed followed by institutions such as religion, family, politics, and armed forces. It also explores the mechanics of the world of an insane being. This plot is based on the thought that man comes into being to die and to be reborn again. So, situations and scenes have been threaded accordingly. The representation is not so literal and the stories of all characters are somehow fixed to a combined resolution that is also not hitched to any kind of conclusion.
At the end of the project, there is a sense of achievement. I have understood what filmmaking is all about at a professional level.
