This project is an explorative attempt to come up with real time social interactions in the future when the web becomes pervasive and available in mobile media . The Targeted area is to design Context- Aware Interactive System to connect people in the real world location to people on-line accessing the virtual Information of the same location. It takes Social Interactions as a means of connecting real world experiences with virtual worlds.
I Designed an Interactive system named Yo!Port which uses photograph of a place as a 3d -immersive scene where real world visitors can enter the photo and meet other people. I Researched on the topic and conducted user-studies to understand user behaviour and needs. Explored several Product Ideas. Articulated the fianl concept with appropriate scenarios and use-cases . Designed the User Interface and Interactions for both Mobile-Web and PC-Web application . Designed the Branding for the product .
Its was a challenging experiencing in converting a thought in to a product . I learnt quite a lot of things in terms of an iterative process . The process of weaving experiences in to a wholesome application which will engage people in a novel way was a time consuming , but important learning . In retrospect this project thought me where to be explorative and how to be realistic .
