My project involved researching the company’s current position, understanding the BTL market space and finally suggesting directions for the future, to strategize a roadmap for CS Direkt leading up to 2010.
This research was conducted to design a strategy roadmap for Group CS Direkt to address the mid-life crisis situation in terms of low turnover and brand equity in the market. Group CS Direkt, Gurgaon, is an experienced marketing solution provider with a host of top corporate clients and a sound international network. They have been in business for the past decade, but have not made it as big as other industry players.
What made me fall in love with the project was its scope. Since it was purely a strategic project, I was expected to see the situation from different angles: corporate clients, competitors, industry views, end users, vendors, creative teams, client servicing teams and, last but not the least, the top management.
The outcome was a set of reflections on the internal as well as external state of the company with an appropriate feedback mechanism in place, with eyes on future goals. It captured the indispensable strategic moves in the organizational platform, to look at how the organization is perceived externally by virtue of its business style.
