The auto industry has been heavily influenced by the consumerist culture, leading to pollution and global warming. Simultaneously, eco-friendly materials, rapid manufacturing techniques, artificial intelligence and autonomous drivers are some indicators foreseeing a big technological revolution. This project works to create a concept vehicle that is naturally evolved, in sync with the ecosystem of Earth. A geographically evolved vehicle might serve a better mobility solution on both a global and a local level. Research was alternated with ideation and exploration. ‘Yantra’ is a concept vehicle specifically designed for and made in Mumbai, using regional materials and local energy resources.
