Synopsis
The objective of the project was to convey the information about astronomy and the universe to children of various ages, through various interactive installations and information visualisation. This necessitated a need to study and design gestural interfaces for these installations in the museum space.
The scope of work spanned understanding gesture-based interactions and envisioning the ways in which the information can be delivered in an interactive and engaging manner for the target audience. Intensive research into the user base and purpose of the informative games was conducted before before making the specific gestural interactions needed for the game. The game flow and the elements of the game system were designed once the content of the game was decided.
