Synopsis
The project – a small journey which reflects the harmony between the people, nature and their creativity – focused on bringing out the core essence of the craft culture of Uttarakhand and highlight how craft is a way of life for its local people. The images portray the identity of Uttarakhand through its craft culture at the grass root level. The photographs were taken with an aim to create awareness about generating respect for Indian crafts and its practitioners by portraying the difficulties and challenges that they face.
