Synopsis

The project, predominantly concerned with the sector of health care in the rural regions, aimed to propose a solution for the critical issues occurring during storage and transportation of vaccines during the last mile connectivity.

The utilitarian and ergonomic design of the end product gave shape to a compact, portable, robust and reliable vaccine cooler. The reduction in its weight and size was effected without compensating on the optimal cooling required to cool the vaccines within. Further design intervention allowed for facilitative accessibility, arrangement and packaging of vaccines within the cooler.
