Synopsis
With a decline in the consumption of print media, publishers are exploring innovative means to monetise digital content. With an aim to find opportunities for print media to expand their user base in the emergent field of smart televisions, extensive research was conducted into the trends of smart televisions in various social and technological scenarios in an Indian context.
Narrowing down the wide expanse of print media to fashion magazines for women, a solution-oriented approach with relevant and contextual design directions gave rise to feasible ways in which this technology can integrate virtual fashion, online shopping fashion, magazine reading/watching, etc. and create a novel source of consumer experience.
