Synopsis
This project was directed towards conceptualising a set of window displays and overseeing its production for a luxury retail environment in context with the target audience and visual language of the store. These would be rotated throughout the year, showcasing the company’s products and retail items.
The central theme of the display was inspired by the eclectic Art Deco style and the multicultural city of Mumbai. Due to the limited space available, an illusion of depth was created using forced perspectives employing the art technique of trompe-l'œil. Small and large-scale models were created to test the feasibility
of the design.
