Synopsis
The brief called for the design of a range of technical textiles for car upholstery using the Jacquard weave within the parameters of quality and international standards. Three very visually different collections were developed: the first collection incorporated geometric elements for both light and dark interior environments; in contrast the second collection used free flow patterns inspired by elements of nature. The motifs of the final archival range were inspired by Asian temple architecture and the Dravidian script of the language family of South India. This collection also saw the inclusion of digital prints and embroidery elements.
