The Conflictorium
Synopsis
This project aims to bring forth various kinds of conflicts and their causes in the context of our social fabric. The content of the gallery was conveyed through stories to reach out to a wide audience with varying backgrounds.
Drawing from structures and motifs portrayed in animal fables like the Panchatantra by Vishnu Sharma and the Animal Farm by George Orwell, the gallery follows the story of a donkey, the iconic beast of burden, living in a forest with a social fabric as complex and conflicted as that which exists in the human world. The use of interactive media like light and shadow effects, sounds, props and animation was augmented by a carefully structured narrative.
