Synopsis
In the face of rapidly-spreading urbanisation and with the demands of globalisation on the rise, land has become one of the most vital assets in today’s global economy, and is emerging as a key source of conflict.
A small boy and his pet mouse put up a brave fight against a robot that has come to take away his land by force. This short film is inspired by the Koel–Karo movement that commenced in Bihar in 1955 where the local indigenous tribes stood up to fight for their land in a fifty-five year long struggle to eventually emerge victorious. A metaphoric statement to communicate in general the issue of land acquisition, this film targets a universal audience.
