Synopsis
The project aim was to find opportunities for the client in the context of the Indian supermarket scenario and create an application design which facilitated Customer Sales Associates (CSA) to carry out in-store operations effectively and efficiently.
Design directions led to the development of a tablet application Proof of Concept (POC), using which the CSAs could assist the operations process of supermarkets in India. Unlike existing systems in the current market, this unique application has almost nothing to do with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Shadowing to gain customer insights, anti-shoplifting aids, better manager-CSA interaction, etc. are some of its salient features.
