Synopsis
The objective of this project was to improve the overall look and feel of the company’s existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system by redesigning new interfaces and interaction features which are both technically feasible and economically viable. The major focus was on redesigning the dashboard and in particular the ‘procurement module’.
The design process included understanding the ERP domain, procurement process, competitor systems, user research and testing existing design with target users, eventually conceptualising a new and improved user interface design. The proposed solution is designed to run on all browsers and work on tablets, thus making it easier for managers to gain updates irrespective of time and location.
