Synopsis

The web-based Apartment Management System (AMS) software provided by the client had limited user accessibility. With more users preferring browsing on smartphones over desktops, this project aimed to come up with a mobile-friendly AMS to facilitate frequent interaction and information-sharing among the residents regardless of their location.

A research on the domain of gated communications and mobile applications to this specific area was carried out. Based on the overall competitive analysis and user research analysis key features for the mobile app were shortlisted. With the information architecture in place, prototyping was carried out iteratively to arrive at fully functional screens for the app and visual design elements were applied to produce the final working prototype of the AMS mobile app.
