Synopsis

The diploma project was focused on identifying user experience paradigms, scenarios and designing methodologies for next generation applications cutting across analytics, web, mobile and social platforms.

After research, possible design intervention zones were mapped to derive a generic model that the retailer could adapt depending on the retail category and context. Based on the model solution, artefacts were developed for a single use case scenario: mobile apps for bettering the retailer-customer connect and a digitally-enabled shopping cart to actively engage customers and guide them to ensure their shopping is a smooth and effective process.
