Synopsis
This project was an exploration in the area of mobile gaming landscape through the eyes of a game developer, a gamer and an observer and in understanding the nuances of creating holistic experiences and engaging narratives that resonate with the player through the mobile device.
The final redesign of the game platform aimed at equipping it with a set of newly formed guidelines using the multimodal nature of the mobile device, moving away from its desktop roots. Some of the newly incorporated changes included replacing on-screen controls by touch gestures, tilt test as a possible secondary control for movement, audio and visual feedback for all actions in the game etc.
