Synopsis
This project focused on creating an immersive narrative about iconic architecture of the world using interactive digital media and Spatial Augmented Reality (SAR) techniques.
The end result was a pop-up book featuring miniatures of three iconic architectural marvels – the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower and the Tower Bridge – with an option to skip, play or jump to any section of the video-projection. This was facilitated by a 360-degree circular potentiometer, divided equally into three sections of Durability, Functionality and Aesthetics. This multimodal interaction installation was created for museums and exhibitions with an aim to encourage the public to visit such places and gain knowledge-enriching and memorable experiences.
