Synopsis
India is often termed as the world’s ‘hunger capital’ by the media. This is because almost one-fourth of India’s populace of 1.1 billion goes hungry each day. However, the stories these staggering statistics have to convey are often missed and need to be shared. Hence the project brief called for making an animated video based on Indian statistics related to hunger, poverty and marginalisation. This was to be targeted at the vast Internet audience and hopefully provoke them to take inspired action. This animated motion graphic film supported by a voice-over is a blend of frame-by-frame animation, kinetic typography and basic shapes.
