Synopsis
Today’s cities are rife with children living off the streets. Abandoned or runaways, they come to the cities seeking livelihood. These impressionable minds search for just about any kind of job to quell their hunger – in the process many fall victim to oppression, forced labour and addiction.
Truth be told and truth be shown – this film tries to probe into the lives of such street urchins who were the victims of child labour. This documentary focuses on their backstories: how they led their lives before they were introduced to school and education and what made them choose this path. The poignant realities portrayed through the narrative documentary are meant to jolt the audience into waking up to the injustice of child labour.
